Vivo V29e to Launch on August 28 in India

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has been teasing the launch of an upcoming smartphone Vivo V29e for some time now and has been teasing the specifications of the upcoming smartphone through an exclusive microsite.

The upcoming phone that the company has been teasing is none other than the Vivo V29e, and in the latest teaser, the company has finally revealed the launch date for the upcoming phone.

Vivo will launch V29e on August 28 in the country, which matches the earlier reports that said that the smartphone will launch in the last week of August.

Vivo V29e Design & Specifications

Well, the company has already revealed the Design of the device through teasers. There’s a large display up front with minimal bezels all around the display.

A centered punch hole for the front camera. The power button & Volume rockers are on the right! Type-C port & speaker grille at the bottom.

As for the Back, The device features two huge circular rear camera module that houses dual rear cameras, and the LED Flash is just beside them, and there are some geometrical shapes just below the cameras.

Also, the device features a dual-tone design with a color-changing panel, and the company is just in line with the dual camera module.

Vivo has also revealed some of the specifications through the teasers. Vivo V29e will feature a 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will likely feature a 6.73-inch FullHD+ resolution.

The processor is speculated to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset with 8GB RAM & 128/256GB storage. Runs on FuntouchOS 13, based on Android 13, and the device comes in two colorways, Artistic Red & Artistic Blue. Also, as per the teaser, the Artistic Red rear panel will change its color to Black.

The Vivo 29e has a dual rear camera setup, and the company has officially confirmed that V29e will feature a 64MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, and the second sensor could be a 2MP macro/depth camera. For the front, the selfie camera is said to be 50MP and is said to feature auto-eye focus.

Furthermore, the dedicated microsite setup by Vivo revealed that the company will price the device between ₹25,000 to ₹35,000, and Vivo claims that it is the thinnest phone in the price segment with a 7.5mm, 2.29mm one single narrow frame and weigh around 180.5 grams.

Also, as confirmed by the company, Vivo V29e will be available on Flipkart and Vivo e-store. There’s already a landing page on Flipkart for the upcoming V29e smartphone.
